Itinerary of Puri (Jagannath) Bhubaneshwar& Kolkata (Gangasagar)
Day 1 : ArrivalBhubaneswar –Puri
Pickup fromBhubaneswar airport Proceed to the Puri. En-route visitDhauli ( the peace pagoda), Lingaraj Temple, Chausath (64) Yoginitemple. After reaching Puri check into the hotel in the evening and enjoy at Puri beach. Overnight at Puri.
Day 2 :Puri – (Jagannath Temple) - Chilika Lake ( Satpada ) – Puri
After morning breakfast, Darshan at Sri Jagannath Temple**(Non Hindus are not allowed),**Gundicha Temple (Mausima Temple), Bedi Hanuman Temple, Depart forSatapada, Chilka. en- route visit Alarnath Temple after reaching Chilika lake Take a boat ( By own cost/ Direct payment ) meets the Irrawaddy Dolphins in nature and the Hradaya –SagarSangam or the sea mouth (the point where the lake meets the sea). Enjoy the day at Chilka Lake (India's biggest inland lake spread over 1,100 square kilometers). Evening return to Puri, In the evening enjoy and relax at golden beach, freetimeshopping at Puri local market. Overnight at Puri.
Day 3: Puri - Konark (Sun Temple) – Bhubaneshwar ( Nandankanan Zoo )
After breakfast from the hotel then drive toKonark on marine drive, visitChandrabhaga beach &Ramchandi temple. Then visit The famous Sun Temple called black Pagoda, The 12th century temple richly decorated with stone carving in the thendrive to Bhubaneshwar and visitNandankanan Zoo (This zoo is famous for variety wild life sanctuary & also famous for white Tiger & Lion Safari (Closed On Monday),at evening check in hotel. Overnight at Bhubaneshwar.
Day 4: Bhubaneswar Local & Drop -
After breakfast visit local Bhubaneshwar and visitRajarani temple, Mukteshwar temple, Parshurameshwaram Temple,KedarGauri temple, Khandagiri, Udaygirijain caves,Tribal museum (Closed On Monday) then free time for shopping.Ekamrahaatevening transfer to Bhubaneswar Railway station to catch the Train for Kolkata.Night hold in train.
Day 5 : Arrival Kolkata & Local Sightseeing:
**Pickup from Kolkata Howrah Railway station. Check in at the hotel. After relaxing, visit half day local sightseeing in Kolkata -Victoria Memorial, St. Paul's Cathedral Church, Birla Planetarium, Indian Museum. Overnight at Kolkata.
**Day 6 : Kolkata – Gangasagar – Kolkata:
Early morning proceed to Gangasagar, Sagar Island is an island in the Ganges delta, lying on the continental shelf of Bay of Bengal about 100 km south of Kolkata. & quot; Gangasagar & quot; is a place of Hindu pilgrimage, hundreds of thousands of Hindus gather to take a holy dip at the confluence of river Ganges and Bay of Bengal and offer prayers (puja) in the Kapil Muni Temple. Back to Kolkata hotel & amp; Overnight stay at Kolkata hotel.
**Day 7 : Local Kolkata -Departure Kolkata:
After breakfast, visit local sightseeing of Kolkata, Kalighat Temple, Science City, Howrah Bridge, Fort William Eden Gardens, Shahid Minner, Belur Math, Dakshineswar Kali Temple, Mother's Wax Museum then drop at Kolkata airport/railway station.
