DAY-WISE TOUR ITINERARY

Day 01 – 01 May | NJP / Bagdogra → Phuentsholing

Arrival at NJP Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport. Meet our representative and proceed towards Phuentsholing, the gateway to Bhutan. Complete the required border/entry formalities and transfer to the hotel. Evening free for leisure and exploring the local market.

Night Stay: Phuentsholing

Approx. Journey: 5 Hours

Day 02 – 02 May | Phuentsholing → Thimphu

After breakfast, check out and proceed to Thimphu, the capital of Bhutan. Enjoy the beautiful Himalayan landscapes, valleys, rivers and traditional Bhutanese settlements along the way. On arrival, check in at the hotel. Evening free to explore Thimphu Market / Clock Tower Square.

Approx. Journey: 5–6 Hours

Day 03 – 03 May | Thimphu Local Sightseeing

After breakfast, enjoy a full day of Thimphu sightseeing. Visit Buddha Dordenma (Buddha Point), National Memorial Chorten, Takin Preserve, traditional handicraft areas and other important local attractions. Subject to operating hours and local permissions, visit Tashichho Dzong. Buddha Point and Thimphu's cultural sights are established attractions on Bhutan itineraries.

Evening free for shopping and leisure.

Day 04 – 04 May | Thimphu → Dochula Pass → Punakha

After breakfast, check out and drive towards Punakha. En route visit the spectacular Dochula Pass, famous for its 108 chortens and, in clear weather, Himalayan views.

Continue to Punakha and visit the magnificent Punakha Dzong, beautifully situated at the confluence of two rivers. Time permitting, visit the famous Punakha Suspension Bridge.

Approx. Journey: 3 Hours

Day 05 – 05 May | Punakha → Paro

After breakfast, check out and proceed towards Paro through scenic mountain roads. On arrival, check in at the hotel. Depending on arrival time, enjoy local Paro sightseeing or explore the town and market at leisure.

Approx. Journey: 4 Hours

Day 06 – 06 May | Paro Sightseeing / Tiger’s Nest Monastery Trek

After an early breakfast, proceed for the highlight of the Bhutan tour — Taktsang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest). Enjoy the trek through beautiful forest and mountain scenery to one of Bhutan's best-known sacred sites. Tiger’s Nest is a standard highlight of western Bhutan cultural tours. Bhutan Travel Services

Guests not wishing to complete the trek may enjoy Paro local sightseeing, subject to the group's arrangements.

Day 07 – 07 May | Paro → Phuentsholing → Gorumara

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and begin the return journey towards Phuentsholing. Complete the border formalities and continue towards Gorumara. On arrival, hotel check-in and relax.

Approx. Journey: 6 Hours

Day 08 – 08 May | Gorumara → NJP / Bagdogra Departure

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to NJP Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport according to the train/flight schedule.
